Our school’s Chaplaincy Team has again been refreshed this academic yearIt is comprised of ten Year 6 pupils who are responsible for putting together Celebrations of the word for whole-school and other groups throughout the year.

Under the guidance and support of our Lay Chaplain, Mrs Chapman, the team have the responsibility of planning and delivering fortnightly Celebrations of the word based on the Liturgical Year and incorporating our six school values of Love, Kindness, Faith, Courage, Forgiveness and Service.

This term they have attended their induction training where they created their action plan for their year in post.  They have also been on a pilgrimage to St Michael’s Church in Wolverhampton where they visited the shrine of St Carlo Acutis.

It proves to be a busy year for them all and we wish them well.

St. Peter’s Whole-School Prayer

Dear God,

We want to be good followers of you in the way we behave. Please help us to:-

Share our things and share our love with everyone in our school;

Take care of each other;

Persevere with our learning and all that we do;

Encourage each other to be the best that we can be;

Treat everyone how we wish to be treated;

Endeavour to live by the Word of God;

Respect one another and the world we live in.

When we live in community we will spread your Gospel message and grow in faith together. Bless us in our efforts.  Amen.
