We welcome volunteers at St. Peter’s; they help to enhance adult to pupil ratios, together with providing valuable personal development opportunities for the adults involved. We can offer a variety of roles including reading support and swimming supervision. Volunteers can come into school on a regular basis or they can offer their services as part of a more casual arrangement. For example, we often need help with out of school trips or PTFA events which are spread throughout the year.

Before you begin, we need to make you aware of some important safeguarding procedures and documents. You will be required to read and sign a hard copy of the letter below to confirm that you understand our safeguarding procedures. You will also be asked to complete and sign the ‘Childcare disqualification check’ below. You are welcome to download and print these documents yourself – alternatively we can provide you with copies when you come into school.
