We welcome volunteers at St. Peter’s; they help to enhance adult to pupil ratios, together with providing valuable personal development opportunities for the adults involved. We can offer a variety of roles including reading support and swimming supervision. Volunteers can come into school on a regular basis or they can offer their services as part of a more casual arrangement. For example, we often need help with out of school trips or PTFA events which are spread throughout the year.
Before you begin, we need to make you aware of some important safeguarding procedures and documents. You will be required to read and sign a hard copy of the volunteer letter below to confirm that you understand our safeguarding procedures. Please return a signed copy to Paul Phillips. You will also be required to fill in the online application form for volunteers which has been provided by our academy.
